PRESENTATION: Relevant Project Management for Changing Times

Let’s face it, changes are faster and bigger in today’s world than ever before. Businesses and sometimes entire industries can feasibly be wiped out by just one technical invention or a new idea that changes the way we do things. In this world of change, the role of a Project Manager is more important than ever before, given they can be good change agents themselves. It’s one thing to inflict change and ask others to adopt and expect compliance and another completely different proposition to role model a change.

Project Managers ask regularly will our profession be needed in the next few years. Will we be successful and able to thrive in our careers with changing times? Let’s find some answers together and learn a few tactical methods for not only surviving but thriving with change as project managers.

In this one hour session, Ashima Sharma will host an interactive dialog to:

• Explore change transition curve
• Share your journey of change
• Discuss Dos and Don’ts for project managers for today’s changing times
• Understand leadership traits to acquire and grow
• Develop strategies to thrive and stay relevant
