2026 Summit Planning Team Volunteer Leaders Needed
Want to grow your experience and give back to the PMI community?
We’re kicking off planning for the PMI 2026 Summit and looking for three volunteer workstream leads to help shape this year’s event. If you do not have the capacity to lead at this time, we are also looking for committee members for the 2026 Summit Logistics, Marketing, and Content teams.
This is a great opportunity to:
- build your leadership portfolio
- increase your visibility
- expand your network
- gain experience you can showcase on your resume and on LinkedIn
- receive a reference and/or LinkedIn recommendation
- make a real impact in the project management community
We are currently seeking:
Logistics Workstream Lead
March–November 2026 | 5–10 hours/month
Focus: venue coordination, registration, attendee communications, SWAG, thank-yous, and cross-workstream coordination - Great fit for someone organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented
Marketing & Communications Workstream Lead
March–November 2026 | 5–10 hours/month
Focus: marketing campaign, Canva materials, social media, attendance growth, signage, and sponsor packet support - Great fit for someone creative, strategic, and comfortable promoting events
Speaker/Content Workstream Lead
March–November 2026 | 5–10 hours/month
Focus: recruiting, selecting, and preparing quality presenters - Great fit for someone who enjoys outreach, relationship-building, and shaping event content
