DEADLINE EXTENDED - Call for Presenters for Summit 2023: Redefining Project Success

The Project Management Institute (PMI) of Southwest Ohio and Dayton/Miami Valley Chapters are once again teaming up to offer a Conference for our Dayton and Southwest Ohio colleagues on the date of Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the University of Cincinnati's Carl H. Lindner School of Business. This year's Summit is the return of an in-person event with a hybrid option.

This call for presenters is open until Monday, July 31, 2023. Our Chapters are seeking engaging speakers ready to tell their stories that align with PMI's Talent Triangle. In line with the 2023 Pulse of the Profession, our aim is to focus on the following areas: Product vs. Project Management; People, Process, TechnologyAgile vs Traditional PM; and Project Value Delivery.
Sample topics could include, but are not limited to:

  • Virtual Communication Effectiveness (Ways of Working)
  • Delivering Value with LEAN Process Improvement - (Ways of Working)
  • Multi Project - Project Management Best Practices - (Ways of Working)
  • Technical Project Management Do's and Don'ts (Power Skills)
  • From Benefits Identification to Business Results: The bumpy, winding, and foggy road (Business Acumen)
  • All in one - Product, Process, and Project Management (Ways of Working)
  • Strategic Thinking in an Agile World (Business Acumen)
  • Distilling Vision into Portfolios, Programs and Projects (Business Acumen)
  • Ch-Ch-Ch-Change Management Tips and Tricks (Power Skills)
  • Owning your WoW (Ways of Working)
  • VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) in the PM's world: Get used to it (Power Skills)
  • HAP=Y: Hybrid + Agile + Predictive = Yipee! (Ways of Working)
