Live PMP® training Rules Change on December 1
Planning a live PMP® prep class? From December 1, 2026, it only counts toward your 35 training hours if an eligible provider runs it. Training you finish before then still counts, and self-paced, on-demand courses aren't affected. Check your provider before you sign up.
Before you book a live course, check that it's run by one of these providers:
- A PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP)
- An eligible, accredited higher education program, such as one accredited by the PMI Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs
