Volunteer Group Leader Needed for Community of Interest

PMI Southwest Ohio Chapter is seeking a dedicated volunteer to lead our newest Community of Interest: PMO Leadership Round Table. This group will serve as a collaborative space for PMO leaders and professionals to discuss best practices, share insights, and develop their expertise in PMO leadership.

Role Overview

The group leader will be responsible for organizing and facilitating discussions, ensuring effective communication among
members, and maintaining group materials. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in PMO leadership, project
portfolio management, and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the Agenda – Identify discussion topics and structure each session to ensure productive conversations.
  • Facilitate Discussions – Lead engaging and interactive meetings, ensuring all voices are heard.
  • Capture Notes – Summarize key takeaways from each session and share with the group.
  • Distribute & Archive Materials – Store meeting notes, presentations, and resources in the PMI SW Ohio Chapter’s M365
    SharePoint for easy access.
  • Manage Group Communications – Handle emails, meeting invites, document sharing, and virtual meetings to keep members
    engaged and informed.
  • Establish Meeting Cadence – Frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly) to be decided by the group during the first
    meeting.
