Know Before You Go

1. Get Started! - Here's how you get setup, prepped & into the event:

a. System Check - Make sure that your computer is ready for the event. Here's also some Computer Tips you might find useful tips to prepare your computer

b. Login to Summit 2021 from the email you received from “Summit 2021!” and iil@theonlinexpo.com

c. Note: If you’re logging in for the first time, you will need to reset your password by clicking “Forgot Password.” Further instructions can be found on the login page.

d. Login using your new password.


2. Get Welcomed! Watch the Welcome Message by Chapter Presidents - Lacey Strete and Marideth Buchinger.

Tip: It's a self-serve video, watch it on your own speed/pace. Maximize the screen from the lobby 


3. Get Noticed! Update your “Profile” with your contact information and upload your headshot!

Tip: Even if you don't want to update your profile, you'll still need your PMI ID# going into sessions for true-up of PDU's. Your attendance login with PMI ID + your survey completion after the session = PDU upload on your behalf. 

4. Get Engaged! Click the “Engage” tab to chat in the Networking Lounge.


a. Click on a fellow attendee’s name to view their profile and start a 1-on-1 conversation


b. Follow us on social media or use #Summit2021 and #ChangeCanBeScary to post on LinkedIn, Twitter, FB, etc


5. Get Tricked, or Get Treated?! Click the “Engage” tab to learn how to earn badges toward prizes available only on the live day!

6. Get Schmoozed! Click “Sponsors” in the Navigation Bar to visit our Exhibit Hall and find out how our sponsors can help you and your team!

7. Get a Plan! Register for live presentations by clicking “Keynotes” or “Breakouts” in the Navigation bar.


a. Near the times of the Breakout Sessions, join a session of your choice by clicking “Join this Presentation.”

b. You will be asked to confirm your details first, then you’re in!

c. Don’t worry about missing anything, the rest will be available On-Demand through November 7, 2021 on this platform, and then you'll have archive access through January 2022 where access will be sent via from each Chapter to the email you used to register for the event.

8. Get PDUs! Day of event offers submission of PDUs on your behalf but it requires you to act (Your session attendance login with PMI ID + your survey completion after the session = PDU upload on your behalf). For any On-Demand PDUs or by-passed session actions, you'll have to self report your PDUs.

9. Get Help!  If you need help during the event, you can use the Chat function in the Event Platform. If you cannot reach the event platform, please submit a form here (link).
