Learning how to lead differently wasn’t so scary…it just took a little courage

Imagine you are part of a large enterprise that has made the decision to ‘Go Agile’.  You may or may not know the reasons why, but you’re not worried about it since the ‘word on the street’ is that it will be years before your department will be impacted at all.   So, you keep leading as you always have been.  After all, you are still achieving business results, right?

Then at the next company-wide meeting you cringe as an announcement is made that your group is next on deck for the Agile transformation.  As you silently leave the meeting, you realize that you have a decision to make...

In this presentation, I will share my own personal journey to become a change leader and offer the top 3 areas that I focused on throughout this transition.   We will explore ways to take that first ‘not-so-scary’ step into becoming a change leader that is engaged and prepared to support their enterprise’s Lean-Agile transformation.
