Webinar: Agile Étude - Inspire a Learning Environment...Virtually
Thanks to our current environment, all of us are learning and adapting. Organizations that weren’t Agile before are quickly finding ways to embrace it.
Businesses are pivoting their strategies and launching new product offerings. People used to teaching in person are shifting to virtual instruction. And it’s all happening from our living rooms, kitchens, and dining rooms—sometimes with a dog barking and kids running around in the background.Something I’ve learned so far is that successfully facilitating virtual sessions means creating a learning environment and fostering social connections. In this presentation, I’ll share my personal journey from being an in-person trainer to becoming a virtual one. I’ll describe a number of techniques and other tools to promote learning and connections in a virtual setting. And in the spirit of relentless improvement, I’ll outline some pitfalls to avoid.

Agile Études, PMI SWO July Webinar
Each month in 2020 The Southwest Ohio Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI SWO) is hosting a free webinar. This is ‘solidarity series’ for agilest project managers facing the new normal. Each month, a common agile topic will be addressed, and we will delve deeply into possible practices aligned to the mostly universally acknowledged agile principles and values. The sessions are entirely free to the first 500 registrants. Each session is eligible for one self-reported professional development unit (PDU) towards the PMP or PMI-ACP certification in the Technical category.
