Apex Leadership and Technology Webinar Series: The Art of Business Analysis Value

Apex welcomes Delvin Fletcher, the President of the IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis), to discuss 5 key strategies to be the most effective Business Analyst you can be!

IIBA’s mission is to help every person achieve more. What does that mean for business analysts today? Amid historic change, how we work is just as important as the work we do. We make an impact by holding our titles loosely, prioritizing our valuable roles within organizations. We lead by stepping out of our comfort zone, scrutinizing the broader context of the task. We accelerate our work by foregrounding data and being nimble when faced with challenges and opportunities. Finally, we are most effective when healthy tension replaces debate in our methodologies, when freedom to adapt replaces resistance to change.

Delvin Fletcher is currently the President and CEO of the International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®). Prior to joining IIBA Delvin served as Chief Information Officer with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario). At CPA Ontario he became more familiar with membership and certification organizations. Delvin spent his formative years as a Consulting Manager for KPMG serving on projects around the globe. He has served in leadership roles in global firms like SAP, Rubbermaid, and was SVP and CIO for Shred-It as this franchise hit hypergrowth internationally. He has served as Chief Operating Officer in more entrepreneurial ventures such as Xchange Technology Group where he held responsibility for IT, HR, operations, and several business revenue lines in North America and Europe.
